What is The Creative Shootout?

Created by Johnny Pitt, founder of Launch PR, The Creative Shootout  is unlike any other industry award ceremony and aims to celebrate creativity in all its forms. The people at The Creative Shootout believe that not only is creativity underrepresented in PR and comms, but it should do good too, so each year they pick a worthwhile charity who will benefit from some of the UK’s best creative talent. This year, The Creative Shootout chose FareShare; the national food re-distribution charity that aims to fight hunger and food waste.

Who can enter?

Agencies from any marketing discipline (Advertising, Content, Digital, Experiential, Integrated, Media, PR – or other) can enter.

How does it work?

Aspiring entrants had 60 seconds to showcase why they should be considered for the most creative agency in the UK. 30 entered and the top 9 were chosen.

On 25th January 2018, all 9 teams will be briefed by FareShare and will have 4 hours to create an award-winning campaign.

The award ceremony will be held at BAFTA and each team will have 10 minutes to pitch their campaign to the extraordinary judging panel.

Unlike previous years, the winning team will walk away with a £30,000 contribution to fees from FareShare and a £250,000 media prize fund awarded by 1XL to help stage the winning campaign in 2018, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled!

How are JFL involved?

JFL are proud to announce that this year we are a sponsor of The Creative Shootout. We can’t wait to see what innovative, creative campaigns the teams come up with!
