What gets you up in the morning?

• The fact that I get to see all of my lovely colleagues!

What made you want to get into recruitment?

• I really enjoy nurturing client and people relationships, so the processes involved in recruitment comes quite naturally because of that. But more over, I wanted to get into PR recruitment because it’s an exciting, trendy and always changing sector.

If you could change one thing about the industry, what would it be?

• In recruitment, I wish all recruiters shared a fair work ethic. In PR, I wish bigger budgets were put into PR for companies, it is such a powerful tool. Bring on the recession recovery days!  

Who is your greatest inspiration?

• My parents (snore) are very hard workers and always inspire me to have a strong work ethic and desire to achieve.

What are the three things you demand in your colleagues?

• Hilarious/ good conversation, shopping partners, equality.

What character trait do you most dislike in people?

• Bad manners, they don’t cost a penny!

What (or who) do you laugh most at?

• Myself, sadly.

Who do you most admire?

• Strong powerful women in general. If we can go in to historical characters, I would say someone like Augustus- he got lucky and was extremely talented.

What is the one website you always check?

• Daily mail/ Daily showbiz

What is the most interesting fact about you?

• God- this makes me feel totally un-interesting. I can speak conversational Greek and know lots about the ancient Roman Empire.

What is your daily newspaper of choice?

• Daily Telegraph

What has been your finest moment in your career so far?

• I have lots! Every time I help a client find a new member for their team and every time I find one of our lovely candidates a job, it makes me very proud to do what I do.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

• In my career? There have been many! I took a tipsy tumble down the stairs at the Corp Comms Awards. That was pretty embarrassing.

Tell us one of your secrets

• They wouldn’t be secrets if I told you!

What would you do if you won the Euromillions?

• I would take my friends, Mum and Sister shopping. Go on an amazing holiday. Buy a swanky pad. And then live off the interest and set up my own business venture- which I shan’t elaborate on in case anyone else decided to pinch my ingenious idea  Eventually, I would like to end up sitting next to Hilary Devey in Dragons Den...

What do you think the next big thing in social media will be?

• Video posting I hope!

In five years time where do you think you’ll be?

• On holiday? I will have climbed the career ladder, know many more people and will still be having a good time!
