Our in-house client, an International leading retailer of children’s toys and movie merchandise is looking for a PR manager to join its growing Marketing and Communications team. Due to expansion, as PR manager you will drive PR initiatives across UK, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal as well as pushing forward joint PR activity with key communications stakeholders. The PR Manager will also be responsible for communicating key brand messages to UK media as well as strengthening internal communications. 

Requirements: 

• Previous PR Agency or in-house experience (Retail PR experience desirable)
• Solid consumer, trade and broadcast media press contacts
• Management experience of at least one direct report
• Event management experience
• International agency management experience desirable

Additional responsibilities: 

• Developing the UK Press Office with PR and Communications Executive 
• Building media relations with trade, consumer and broadcast media 
• Identifying and maximising PR opportunities with Senior Marketing Manager 
•   Representing the brand at European Communications Group meetings. 
• Managing external PR Agencies.
